Flag Raising Event November 2019

On Monday November 25, 2019, Athletes, Volunteers and Community Members gathered outside the Orillia Opera House to celebrate raising the first ever Special Olympics Orillia Flag.  Mayor Steve Clarke was on hand to read a Proclamation declaring this day Special Olympics Orillia day.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate inclusion.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to support our program.  The flag will remain in place until Friday November 29, 2019.
