Stay Connected - Special Olympics Ontario

Hi everyone. I hope you are all taking care of yourselves and following social distancing. I know it is so tough staying cooped up but it is for a good reason. The more we stay indoors the faster we can get back to our activities. I have posted a link below that will take you to some great ideas to stay active. Follow the link and take a look. For those of you that are going to Provincials (Whenever that date may be) we are hoping you are doing some activity at home. There are many free sites to take a look at. Its not like you don't have the time. All you other athletes not going to Provincials its important to stay active as well. Activity helps your mind stay sharp and your body feel better. We don't all want to become couch potatoes. Orillia Sports Medicine has free exercises on Instagram. Coach Taylor has been publishing her workouts on Instagram and Facebook and you can alway link to the Special Olympics Ontario Page, "Healthy @ Home" Headquarters.
